Register a birth, paternity, death, marriage, impediment or divorce with the Civil Registry.
Declare the birth of a child born in Sint Maarten so that the birth certificate can be drawn up by the Civil Registry.
Every birth that takes place in Sint Maarten must be declared at the Civil Registry (Census Office) within five days of the delivery, weekends and public holidays excluded.
The declaration is made by the father, by a person who was present at the birth, or by the hospital where the child was born.
